Employee Pay Data Reporting Moves Forward

The EEOC announced proposed changes to its EEO-1 report that will require all employers with 100 or more employees to submit employee W-2 earnings and hours worked. Advanced copies of the proposed rule and pay reporting form are available in the Federal Register for employers to review. The EEOC plans to take public comment on the proposed rule until April 1, 2016. There will also be a public hearing on the rule where employers will be allowed to present their thoughts, concerns, and ideas on the matter. Speakers must submit a written request to participate by February 22, 2016. Requests can be submitted to:
